The Rank Rebels App — How It Uses Your Google Account
The Rank Rebels App is part of our white-label local-SEO service. With your permission, it connects to your Google account to build and manage a branded set of local-SEO properties on your behalf.
What the app does: Once you authorize access, the app creates and updates Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Google Calendar entries, and organizes the resulting files in Google Drive — together forming the interlinked set of properties we publish for each local business.
What data it accesses, and why:
- Google Drive (drive.file): Creates and manages only the specific files the app itself creates for your project. It never reads or accesses any other files in your Drive.
- Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms: Creates and edits the documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and forms that make up your SEO property set.
- Google Calendar: Creates calendar entries that are part of the published property set.
Your control: You can review everything the app builds and revoke its access at any time from your Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).
